Christmas Trees

Our field trees are sold out for 2023.

We have mentioned to our long time customers to email us to be put on our tagging list.

Some have and we are sure some have not. We now have a waiting list.

You can email us to be added to the waiting list.

A Real Christmas Tree is the Environmentally Sound Choice

In this age of environmental awareness, it’s good to know a favorite family holiday tradition of choosing a real Christmas tree over an artificial tree is still the environmentally sound choice.

A benefit to the atmosphere, real Christmas trees absorb carbon dioxide and other gases, emitting fresh oxygen. This helps prevent the earth-warming “greenhouse effect”. One acre of Christmas trees produces the daily oxygen requirement for 18 people. With approximately one million acres producing Christmas trees in the United States, that translates into oxygen for about 18 million people every day. Unlike plastic trees, real trees are a renewable resource. For every real Christmas tree harvested, two or three seedlings are planted in its place.

Christmas tree farms stabilize soil and provide refuge for wildlife, while creating scenic green belts. Often, Christmas trees are grown on soils that could not support other crops.

Real Christmas trees are an all-American, recyclable resource.

What is the cost for your field trees?    Precut trees are available.

Our field trees range in pricing. Our field trees are $78.00 (plus tax) for the average trees up to 7 ft.

Pricing over 7 ft & under 9 ft are $98.00 (plus tax), over 9 ft can be determined prior to cutting.

Netting your tree is free of charge. Please note: there is currently a waiting list for our field trees. We hope in a few years we will have many more trees available.

Do you have Christmas tree stands?  Yes we have several types.

Can I tag a field tree and pick up later?

Yes, if you are on our email list. Please understand, we have no control over missing tags, tags taken off trees, trees cut and missing when you come back, or damage to a tree beyond our control. At this time, only customers who are on our email list will be able to tag trees. To be added to our tree tagging list please email us.  Currently, we have a waiting list for our field trees.

Tagging is a pretty simple process. We provide a 3 part tag, 1 part for the tree with your name on it , 1 for you and 1 for the farm. Some of our customers have the tradition of decorating their tree in the fields with special ornaments when they are tagging and you are welcome to do the same.

Please be kind to our wildlife, leave no popcorn or food attached to the tree.

Important:  Any plans to pick up a tree may be impacted by weather. If it snows or rains on that day,  it may  delay the pickup for that day. Watch the weather and the headline at top of our website.

Do you offer tree drilling?

Yes. We offer this anytime we are open to sell trees. Free of charge! We realize there may be customers who did not sign up for our email list and are not able to purchase a field tree this year from us, but have a tree stand requiring a tree to be drilled. No worries. We will drill your tree, free of charge, where ever you purchased your tree! Just email us ahead of time, before tree purchase, to discuss options.

What type of field trees do you grow?

We grow Balsam, Canaan, Norway Spruce, and some Blue Spruce.

Do I need to bring something to tie my tree?

Maybe. We have string to secure your tree. If driving a long distance or on a highway we recommend bring rope to secure your tree.

Can I purchase a farm made wreath with my tree purchase?  Yes, when available. How about without a tree purchase?  Yes, when available. We also make wreaths to order. Email us with your request or question. We also offer wreath making classes, a lot of fun.
