The seed was sown for our flower farm was started with a wreath on the morning of November 20, 2025. Yes, a Balsam Christmas wreath! The NA Angle Tree Garden Club came to the farm to make wreaths. This one woman (a little louder than the others, you will see what I mean, it's her accent, ) was ready to decorate her wreath shortly after showing up. She has a bag full of ribbons, pine cones and decorations being emptied out on the table. I said what are you doing? She replied getting ready to decorate my wreath. I said you haven't even made yet! She said OMG (a term she seems to use a lot) we have to make it.....from scratch. I said yes. I knew then it was going to be an interesting evening. During the event she wanted to know if we grew flowers, we do only to sell in the spring. Then the idea of a flower field was born, my wife and Leidy (pronounced "Lady") started the idea and with a lot of work it is almost completed and will be opening very soon. The lady in the middle is Leidy with her Mom and Dad that I have become to know, wonderful people!! (this is why I call her Leidy, not to mention if my mother knew I called someone "hey Lady" I would be in trouble). Cindy and Leidy are anxious to meet you. Oh yes the flowers too!
